Stripper toner
This product seemed great at sprouts but the first time I used it, it stripped the color out of my hair and left it orange. Don’t use if you’re a blonde.

Hair color fading can happen for a variety of reasons. One common factor is the use of alkaline hair products, which can cause the hair cuticle to remain open, allowing color to escape. Using a color-safe shampoo and conditioner is a great way to help protect your color.
In addition, some hair types are naturally more porous, and damaged or raised cuticles can contribute to faster fading. When the cuticle remains open, it not only allows moisture to escape but also makes it easier for color pigments to wash out. Regular deep conditioning treatments can help maintain healthy hair by restoring moisture, smoothing the cuticle, and improving overall color retention.
